  • according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, if, after a balance of interests, the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests; this includes, in particular, our interests in analyzing, optimizing and securing the offer on our website.
We consider data confidentiality as an important business principle. Our policies and methods of data protection are focused on the processing, transfer and storage of personal data in an appropriate and legal way, in order to ensure their confidentiality, integrity and accessibility.

The QA-TestLab data protection policy is based on the following principles:

Access to personal data is provided solely to the QA-TestLab employees and its affiliated companies, that have the appropriate permission and a clear operational need for access to data.

We may also process your personal data for a reason that is not listed in the GDPR. For example, to include your feedback of our services on our website. Where this is the case, we need your consent.

Integration of Third-party Services and Content

Our offer may include content, services and performances of other providers. These include maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) thus perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Although we make every effort to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process is used for statistical purposes, among other things. If we have knowledge that the IP address is stored, we point this out to our users.

Use of GOOGLE Services

Using Google Analytics in marketing and Promotional Communications:

We use Google Analytics for advertising purposes, namely Google Analytics remarketing; using demographics and interests data from website visitors in Google Analytics reports; creating user segments based on this data.

We use remarketing to customize the set-up of text and display ads on the Display Network and reach users who have previously visited our website.

The principles of displaying our advertisements by third-party providers, including Google include the following: our ads may be shown to people who have entered a search query in their browser that is close to keywords that are relevant to our advertising message and the content of our site; our ads may be shown to people whose information have been collected by third-party ad systems based on interests and preferences, or social demographic characteristics; our ads may be shown to people who have previously visited our site; our ads are shown to people who have been identified by third-party ad systems as similar audiences to users who have expressed an interest in our company.

You can turn off Google Analytics advertiser features in several ways: through ad preferences for desktop and mobile apps, using the NAI ad opt-out tool, or using the Google Analytics Blocker.

Google Maps

We use a plugin of the internet service Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc. located in the USA, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. By using Google Maps on our website, information about the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and also stored on this server. We have no knowledge of the exact content of the data transmitted, nor of their use by Google. In this context, the company denies the connection of the data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transfer the information to third parties. If you disable Javascript in your browser, you prevent Google Maps from running. However, you will not be able to use the map display on our website. By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of the information by Google Inc.


On our website, we use functions of LinkedIn, a network that aims in particular to promote professional contacts among its members. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. If you click on the LinkedIn “Share-Button” (plug-in), you woll – if you are logged into your user account at LinkedIn – forwarded in a seperate browser window on your user account and the deposited on our website electronic publication with the addition of a comment divide. The plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP adress. In addition, LinkedIn will be able to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account. We point out that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted (personal) data and their use by LinkedIn.

Transfer of Personal Data

You can be sure of the security of your data. QATestLab will use your personal data for the sole purpose of technical administration of the websites, customer administration, product surveys and marketing, only to the extent necessary in each specific case. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties outside the QATestLab without your consent.
